The TRiO Scholars Program

The National Hispanic University will have a seven-week intensive Summer Bridge Program that will run from June 25, 2012 - August 10, 2012.
What is Summer Bridge?

Summer Bridge will assist first year students through the transition of graduating from high school and entering the university. The purpose of the Summer Bridge program is to prepare students for the academic, social, and personal challenges and new experiences of college. Students will meet their professors, get familiar with all departments and learn about on-campus resources. It is a fun and exciting way to start college.

Participants will enroll in two credit bearing courses, participate in workshops, advising sessions, and study hall. At the same time, students will have fun while making new friends and enjoying group activities.
