Dual Credential: Multiple Subject and Single Subject

If you are interested in teaching more than one subject, yet deepening your knowledge in a specific subject area, a dual teaching credential can provide you with expanded skills and additional employment options. Rather than an additional 12 to 18 months to earn a second credential, you can be recommended for a credential in a different area with an additional four to eight months of work. With this dual credential, you would be eligible to teach both single and multiple subject matters at the elementary or secondary school level. This program is taught on our campus in San José.

You can transfer up to three courses or six units into this program.
