2042 Preliminary Single Subject Credential


Expand your level of knowledge, skill, and reflection of instructional practices by earning your preliminary teaching credential. Choose a preliminary single subject credential from one of the following seven subject matter areas:

  • Math
  • Science
  • History/Social science
  • English language arts
  • Spanish
  • Art
  • Physical education

Upon completion of this program, you will be issued a Preliminary Single Subject Credential for SB 2042 as provided by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. You can continue to your CLEAR credential by completing additional requirements. This program is taught on our campus in San José.

You can transfer up to six units into this program.
