2042 Preliminary Multiple Subject Credential


Expand your level of knowledge, skill, and reflection of instructional practices by earning your preliminary teaching credential. This multiple subject credential, offered on our campus in San José, is designed to prepare you to meet the needs of the K-12 classroom, and more specifically support the cultural and socioeconomic diversity of students in California. Upon completion of this program, you will be issued a Preliminary Multiple Subject Credential for SB 2042 as provided by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. You can continue to your CLEAR credential by completing additional requirements.

You can transfer up to six units into this program.

  • 15 courses (40 units) taken consecutively

    • 6 weeks each
    • 2 evenings per week
