Dual Concentration in Early Intervention and Early Biliteracy Development
Children from birth to age 5 can face a number of challenges when preparing to succeed in school. By choosing this dual concentration, you can gain the knowledge and skills to address the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse children and their families—in the same amount of time it would take to complete one concentration. Our supportive faculty members bring their real-world experience to the program so that you learn evidence-based strategies that help you become a culturally responsive professional.
You can transfer up to 90 semester units into this program.
This program can help you prepare for careers including:
Early childhood teacher/assistant
Director of child development programs
Family day care provider
Infant-toddler child care provider/teacher
